Amelia Bedelia Review
My name is Sadie. I am 7 years old. I like to read books and my favorite book is The Amelia Bedelia Treasury. I like The Amelia Bedelia Treasury because it is so funny. The Amelia Bedelia stories are written by Peggy Parish. There are three stories in this book. Ameila Bedelia works for Mr. and Mrs. Rodgers. She does exactly what she is told to do. That gets her in trouble. You'll have to read the book to find out how she gets out of trouble.

Andrew's Review of Piggie and Gerald
My name is Andrew, and I am 8 years old. I like Piggie and Gerald books, so I am going to tell you about them. Piggie and Gerald are a series of books that are written by Mo Willems. I first read Piggie and Gerald books when I was 4 years old. I first read them at school.
Piggie and Gerald books are about a pig and an elephant, and sometimes some other characters. The pig is named Piggie and is a girl, and the elephant is named Gerald. Gerald is funny and so is Piggie. They sometimes have adventures, and they use their imagination. Whenever they speak, the color of their skin is the color of their words, so you know which character is speaking. And, sometimes when they speak together, the author will mix the colors together.
You might be wondering what age kids would read Piggie and Gerald. If you cannot read, then you can look at the pictures or have someone read the story to you, and still enjoy the books. If you are just starting to learn to read, these books are perfect. If you are practicing reading these books are still fun. I am 8 years old and I read chapter books, but I still read Piggie and Gerald books because they are funny, interesting, and I like that they are best friends. Piggie and Gerald books are also great to read to younger brothers and sisters.
Do you want to know my favorite Piggie and Gerald book? My favorite Piggie and Gerald book is called A Big Guy Took My Ball. It is my favorite because in it Piggie finds a ball, and a big guy takes her ball, and then Gerald tries to help her. And then the big guy says, "I didn't take it, you found my ball." Then, they played together, and the book does a good job of teaching you to share.

Famous Five Book Review
Famous Five Book Review
by Madeline MacDougall
age 10
The series of books that I chose is called Famous Five. There are 24 books in this series. They are chapter books and are about 150 to 200 pages long. Famous Five is a British series from the 1940s. They were written by one of my favorite authors, Enid Blyton. Enid Blyton also wrote a lot of other awesome books, which I love, but right now lets focus on Famous Five.
I got introduced to the books by my Grandma and my Mom. In my Mom's side of the family, everybody reads books by Enid Blyton. And, Famous Five was one of my Mom and Grandma's favorites. At first my Mom read a couple of pages to me and my siblings, but then I wound up liking it so much, I read all of the books by myself.
So, I am going to talk to you about the main characters. There are four people and a dog (they are children). They are named; Annie, who is a girl with blonde hair, next is Julian, who is Annie's big brother, and is the oldest of the five, next is Dick who is Julian's younger brother and Annie's older brother, then George, who is their cousin. George is actually a girl name, Georgina, but she looks like a boy and acts like a boy, and will only answer to George. Last, but not least, is Timmy, the dog. He is George's dog and she loves him more than anything.
The Famous Five have adventures in every book. For example, something gets stolen from their house, or they get blackmailed, or there is treasure somewhere, there is always an adventure with the five which makes it very exciting.
When I read this book, I felt excited and happy. Like I never wanted to stop reading it! I was sad when I finished the last book, but I didn't want to read it again. These are not the type of books that you read over and over again. They are mystery and adventure books, so it is not fun if you know what is going to happen.
I think kids should read these books. They are awesome! Kids who like adventure and mystery books would love these. Kids who only like history books and true stories wouldn't like these books as much. And kids like me, we just love them!

Hi my name is Molly. I am 10 years old. I am going to tell you about a book, but first I will tell you about the author. He is Roald Dahl. I like his books about kids, because the kids do what they want, they are exiting, and you never know what is going to happen, and there is never ever 'once upon a time'. I learned about Roald Dahl books because when I was little my dad read them to me. My favorite Roald Dahl book used to be The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Now my favorite one of his books is Matilda.
I'm going to tell you about one of my other favorite ones, George's Marvellous Medicine. It is about a boy named George who lived with his mother, Mrs. Kranky, his father, Mr. Kranky, and his very selfish grandma. George switches his grandmother's usual medicine for a homemade one. The results of the new medicine are more exciting that what George expected. Will the new brew teach grandma a lesson or send her to the hospital? You'll have to read the book to find out.
If you are a storybook reader and you like exciting books you would like this book by Roald Dahl. If you like books about kids that always do the right thing, you might not like this book.
